The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has extended the deadline for the last date for submission of comments by stakeholders on the use of eco-friendly telecom equipment. The deadline has now been extended to July 15, 2010 from the earlier date of June 14, 2010.

"Some stakeholders have requested further extension of time for sending their comments. In view of this, the authority has decided to extend the last date of submission of written comments to June 15, 2010," TRAI said in a statement.
