Lava launches new Iris series 550Q smartphone with 5 inch display in India for Rs 13000

Indian handset maker LAVA International Limited has announced, the Lava Iris 550Q in India at a price of Rs. 13,000, with free flip cover. It carries the design of the Iris Pro 30 smartphone on the front side with a super narrow 3mm bezel and full lamination touch screen that gives the smartphone a classy look though it has not revealed the exact release date. It will be available in Black colour variant. 

The Lava Iris 550Q comes with a 5.5-inch 720 x 1280 pixels HD IPS display with OGS (one glass solution) technology. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM.

The Lava Iris 550Q has 4GB inbuilt storage, which can be expandable up to 32GB via microSD. The smartphone also has 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and BSI sensor and 2-megapixel front camera. The smartphone has some other features like 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth as well with 2600mAh battery which can give 10 hours of talktime on 2G network.
