  The Chinese smartphone maker Gionee, on Thursday announces the availability of its flagship smartphone, the Gionee ELIFE S5.1 in the Indian market for Rs. 18,999. The Gionee ELIFE S5.1 is the company’s slimmest phone till date. The device comes with a metallic frame and glass body and donning a 5.1mm thickness.

The ELIFE S5.1 sports a 4.8 inch AMOLED display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and Corning Gorillas Glass 3 protection. It is powered with a 1.7GHz octa-core processor with 1GB RAM. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS with Gionee's Amigo 2.0 UI. It comes with an 8 megapixels rear camera and 5 megapixels front camera. It comes with 16GB non-expandable storage and a 2050 mAh battery.
The device is loaded with smart functions like the OTG, Wet Hands Mode, Fake Call, Flip Alarm and comes with DTS. It will be available in White, Black, Blue & Pink colors.
