Presently none of the operators have been able to launch their WiMAX services which industry observers is due to lack of funding and the ongoing economic slowdown.

Of the six firms only Tatung InfoComm appears to be close to launching services as it has announced April 27 as the d-day.

VMAX which is funded by Intel Capital is eying a Q2 or Q3 launch of its services.
