World''s number 1 handset manufacturer, Nokia is losing its popularity within the teenagers reports Reuters referring to a survey done by networking site by Habbo Hotel.
While Nokia's popularity at 21 % among the teens remained high as compared to other competitors, the fall is drastic when compared to last year's figure of 29 %.
Sony Ericsson emerged at number 2 spot but even in its case the popularity slipped from 21 % to 18 %. Struggling handset manufacturer, Motorola slipped to number 6 position from the number 3 position attained by it last year.
Prominent brands ahead of Motorola included names such as Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics and Apple.
The survey was conducted across 30 countries involving 112,000 respondents. It must be noted that the survey did not take into account response from Indian and Chinese markets, two of the most prominent markets for Nokia. |
