TT Correspondent |  Mumbai |  19 Jun 2009

UK-based entertainment group, ROK announced that it has secured rights to offer content from Children’s Film Society of India (CFSI) to mobile TV subscribers across the globe.

To start with, the content will be offered on the Tiny TV service launched by ROK in tie-up with BSNL.

“We see mobile phones as a fantastic, fast-growing and brand new distribution channel for our movies not just across India but worldwide as well” said  Sushovan Banerjee, CEO of the Children’s Film Society of India “and, as pioneers in children’s movies we are delighted to be working with ROK on the delivery of our content to a new generation of children in this new manner”.

“Interest in CFSI movies on ROK TV will be massive” said Jonathan Kendrick, Chairman and CEO of ROK “not just in India but, we suspect, to the Indian communities and those interested in Indian culture elsewhere around the world”.
