  With all the latest offerings and pitch around the GSM platform, there is some relief for the CDMA subscribers as well with Research in Motion (RIM) and Reliance Mobile coming together to offer BlackBerry Tour priced at Rs 27,990.
The handset is 3G-enabled and supports international roaming.

The dimensions of the QWERTY phone are 112mm x 62mm x 14.2mm (L X W X D) and weighs 130g with a 2.44" bright display supporting 480 x 360 resolution at 245 ppi thereby making it the best resolution offered by any BlackBerry model. It is also equipped with a 3.2 mega pixel camera, features such as image stabilization, autofocus and video recording. It has full HTML browser and supports audio & video RTSP.
It also has a 3.5 mm stereo headset jack and supports Bluetooth stereo Audio Profile for A2DP and AVCRP standards. The internal memory is 256 MB and externally it can be expanded to up to 16 MB.
The model also comes equipped with BlackBerry MediaSync allowing subscribers to quickly and easily synch music from iTunes.
Other features include voice activated dialing, enhanced background noise cancellation, low distortion speakerphone. It also has DataViz® Documents to Go® allowing users to edit Microsoft® Word, Excel and PowerPoint files directly on the handset .
On the social networking fron the handset provides easy access to Facebook and Myspace and also supports popular messenger services such as Yahoo!® Messenger, AIM®, Google Talk, Windows Live Messenger™ and BlackBerry® Messenger. Upto 10 personal and corporate email accounts including most of thepopular ISP accounts can be accessed from the handset. BlackBerry® Enterprise Server support, which provides advanced security and IT administration features within IBM® Lotus® Domino®, Microsoft® Exchange and Novell® GroupWise® environments is also provide din the handset.
The 1400 mAhr battery supports 5 hours of talk time and 14 days of standby time. |
