Nokia launched three new CDMA handsets namely Nokia 6316, Nokia 3806 and Nokia 1506 for the China market with the first two handsets to be available during Q1 2010 while the 1506 model to be available by the end of this year.
"Nokia is boosting its leadership in the CDMA market by updating an already strong line-up with products that appeal to a wide range of customer needs," said David Tang, Vice President of Nokia China.
"Of these devices, the Nokia 6316s is bringing exciting 3G services to life for users in China," added Mr Tang. "Building on previous collaboration over the Nokia 8208, this is yet another success story resulting from our close relationship with China Telecom."
The 6316 is a 3G device having a 2 mega pixel camera, Bluetooth 2.1 version and come preloaded with features and applications compatible with China Telecom’s offerings.
Among the other features, Nokia 3806 offers a Health Assistant helping to manage stress.
