TTSL extends one paisa scheme for Tata Indicom’s CDMA users
TT Correspondent |  New Delhi |  16 Dec 2009

With one paisa per second tariff structure seen gaining huge acceptance within the consumer community Tata Teleservices today extended the scheme to its CDMA subscribers under the Tata Indicom brand. The company will offer 3 minutes free for every 3 minutes of use.

The offer can be availed for a recharge voucher worth Rs 53 for existing subscribers and for Rs 99 for new subscribers.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Vineet Bhatia, COO Delhi and NCR, Head North Region, Tata Indicom, said, “We are happy to offer pay per second tariff proposition to all our prepaid subscribers from today. What makes this offer unique and differentiating is that Tata Indicom prepaid subscribers will get 3 minutes bonus talktime after first 3 free minutes of non-stop talking which is industry first aggressive tariff proposition and we are confident that it will be well received especially while festive period is round the corner!”

It maybe remembered that Tata Indicom had introduced unlimited call tariff plan offering calls for unlimited duration for a flat rate of Re1. But the popularity of the scheme looked pale when compared to the popularity of one paisa per second plan even though it promised to offer a much more competitive offering to the consumer.
