Alcatel-Lucent elevates Vivek Mohan to President of Services division

Alcatel-Lucent named Vivek Mohan who is presently head of Alcatel-Lucent, India as the company’s new President of Services business effective April 02, 2010.

Vivek replaces Andy Williams and will be based in India. He will also become a member of Alcatel-Lucent’s management committee.

“I want to thank Andy for the excellent work he has done in growing our services business faster than the market, delivering a healthy operating profit, and positioning Alcatel-Lucent as the transformation partner for key customers throughout the world,” said Ben Verwaayen, CEO of Alcatel-Lucent. “Vivek is the perfect executive to accelerate this business’ growth - bringing hands on experience in overseeing a world class team that has performed managed services and network maintenance for some of India’s leading service providers.”

Vivek holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from California State University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
