A: In 2005, ZTE set up a Channel Management Department in charging of marketing the Enterprise Network and seven regional offices after the Marketing Center of Chinese Enterprise Network was founded, with aim to vigorously expanding channel cooperation system and make a breakthrough in such key markets as government, energy, traffic, finance, education, medical and health, and large-scale enterprises. In 2010, Enterprise Network Marketing Center was officially renamed as Government-enterprise Marketing Center. ZTE Enterprise Business contributes about 7% to total ZTE sales Revenue.
Q. Are you focusing on localization of management of ZTE in India?
A: India is the second largest market for ZTE after China and accounts for about 10 percent of the company’s revenues. The company recognizes the role played by the senior management as it focuses on consolidating its presence in India.
ZTE's Indian workforce strength now stands at 90 per cent of its total strength of over 2300 employees in the country. The company further plans hiring over 100 employees to strengthen its enterprise & terminal sector team in India. |
