A. Once the spectrum allocation problem is sorted out bandwidth constraints will no longer be a critical issue. However, the availability of adequate bandwidth will not fully solve the VAS problem. Even within the limited bandwidth available currently, VAS services are not adequately available. In other words, greater bandwidth is necessary for the availability of the full set of MVAS services, however greater bandwidth by itself cannot be expected to transform the MVAS market. The construct of any service from an Indian user perspective has to take care of things like pricing, language, relevancy and ubiquity. Any one service or an app that takes care of all of this will be a significant market maker in this part of the world.
Q. What are your future plans?
A. We continue to believe in constant innovation and working tirelessly in engaging the customer. We achieve this in two ways, one by providing a network app store experience to a telco to build uniformity inside the network towards the application providers and second ensuring there is enough stickiness in the service offered so that there is constant and enough pull in the consumer interest. |
